What is a home school support group and do I need one?

Home school support groups provide different services depending on the group. H.O.M.E. provides support for the parents, academic activities, special family events, elementary and teenage activities.

H.O.M.E. families select a service team and contribute to the support group's activities and events.

H.O.M.E. believes the advantage of joining our home school support group cannot be realized by just paying membership dues and completing the application. Getting involved and developing relationships with other home school families provides the major benefit of becoming a member of our support group.
Connecting with H.O.M.E. members is easy.

H.O.M.E. publishes Home Educator Newsletter each month providing our members with a ton of information about our members and upcoming activities. H.O.M.E. members also can connect with each other through our members only Yahoo Group.

The purpose of H.O.M.E. is to nurture a Christian home education based upon the Bible. H.O.M.E. support group operates by Biblical principles at all times. The primary goal of our support group shall be to provide support for parents who have chosen to educate their children themselves in agreement with our philosophies.

Some of the advantages of membership are: members only Yahoo group, a variety of age appropriate activities, events and fellowship. Membership requirements include signing the statement of faith, completing and submitting the application, participating in your assigned service team and paying the annual membership dues.

To join H.O.M.E. simply click on "Become a Member" link, print the membership package, fill out the application and mail it with membership dues to the address indicated on the form.
