H.O.M.E. provides numerous events throughout the academic year for its members. Our support group has two teams responsible for planning, organizing and administering group wide events designed for the entire family. Participation in these events provides opportunities for fellowship and to celebrate our student’s success.

The Special Events team is responsible for the fall picnic, Christmas party, father daughter banquet and spring picnic. Three of these events are planned in the evening so all members of the family can participate in the fun and fellowship.

The Academic team is responsible for the Learning Fair and Recital Night. These events are designed to celebrate the success of our students and they are scheduled in the evening.

Our New Member team sponsors a new member dinner in the fall and spring of each year. This dinner is a great way to meet the Steering Committee members of H.O.M.E., have questions answered and meet new home school friends.

The Special Events team also sponsors a monthly skate day and bowling day. These days provide unstructured time for member family’s students to enjoy fellowship and provides opportunities to develop friendships. The teaching parent has the opportunity to visit with other parents too. We are not sure who enjoys these days more the students or the parents!
